Qualification:
Possess an MBBS / BDS / AYUSH with a post graduate degree or diploma in Public Health/Epidemiology/IT/Communications Have at least 3 years of post-qualification experience in implementation of health programmes, including community health Experience in direct implementation of health service delivery programmes through government, NGOs or Regional Resource Centres. Experience in one or all of the following: documentation, data analysis, and training. Excellent communication and presentation skills, analytical and interpersonal abilities. Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.

Job Responsibility: Direct support to selected states as allocated, for implementation of Community Processes (CP) and Comprehensive Primary Health Care(CPHC) programme. Key functions include:
1.Support states in implementing Community Processes (CP) interventions and Comprehensive Primary Health Care (CPHC) components as required at National and State Level.
2. Support states in rolling out all components of the Health and Wellness Center teams through enabling translation of policy into programme, enabling adaption to varying contexts,
3.Support the strengthening of district and state level training sites/ programme study centers and ASHA certification process.
4.Support states to implement a comprehensive primary health care services including operationalizing HWCs and rolling out universal screening of NCDs.
5.Help states plan the scaling up of the Bridge Course for Mid-Level Health Providers and the processes for ASHA certification.
6.Provide hands on, field-based support at state and district levels for training, performance monitoring, and strengthening support structures for improving Health and Wellness center teams and of ASHA, VHSNC / MAS. 7.Assess and document state and district level innovations in CP/CPHC for scaling up.
8.Support the process of development of IT tools for primary health care team to support delivery of CPHC services and online portal to support planning and monitoring of CPHC/ CP.
9.Support states in implementing training and undertaking supervisory support, including inter sectoralconvergence for platforms created for public participation- Village Health Sanitation and Nutrition Committees (VHSNC), MahilaArogyaSamitis (MAS), and RogiKalyanSamities (RKS)
10.Undertake periodic field visits to states and districts to review programme implementation in the States, identify implementation challenges and support states in charting appropriate solutions or enable linkages with appropriate public health/research/academic/technical/support institutions for technical support on CP/CPHC at the State/District Level.
11.Contribute in writing programme specific operational guidelines; technical and policy briefs, training material, reports, case studies, monitoring checklists/protocols etc.
12.Support in undertaking operational research and impact assessments for improving design of CP and CPHC interventions.

Desirable Qualifications :
Working knowledge of Hindi / other major regional language Demonstrated ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team environment. Demonstrated experience in working with NGO led Primary Health Care/Community Health Worker programs/state level public health programmes. Formal educational qualification and experience could be relaxed when there is published work of high quality or whenever there is work experience ofspecific relevance.
