Minimum Salary ( न्यूनतम वेतन ) : INR 19200

Pay scale ( वेतन): INR Rs. 19200 -1600- 48000 /- per month based on qualification.

Educational requirements ( शैक्षिक आवश्यकता): Post-graduate degree + 5 years of relevant experience) OR (Graduation with 8 years relevant experience) OR (CA/ICWA/CS) at the supervisory level a Govt. organization or educational institute or in an organization of repute.

Desirable qualifications ( वांछनीय योग्यता): A post-graduate degree with at least 5 years of experience. Handling of Accounts / Purchase / Import in earlier jobs. Exposure in a professional setting and practical knowledge of materials management, procurement, accounts and stock verification. Direct experience of two years or more in project management in an academic / education institution, administration, accounting, materials management, procurement of materials, stores, stock verification, purchase procedures under GFR 2017 and practical experience of using the relevant software in related areas as required will be considered favourably.

Job responsibilities / description ( उत्तरदायित्व) : To provide full support to the Project Manager at the Flexi Centre at IIT Kanpur and when needed to take the lead under the direction of the Centre’s executive committee and management in one or more of the following: Managing Purchases, direct and through Institute by tendering process, Gem-Government e-marketplace. Maintaining accounts statement of Flexi Centre (consumables & equipment- Quarterly/ Monthly/ Yearly). Handling all aspects of purchase including payment to vendors, book-keeping of purchased items, ensuring the proper handover of equipment and consumables to the right person in the Centre, maintaining files equipment. Maintaining information files for equipment at the Flexi Centre and providing all logistic level support for sending equipment for repair and maintenance. Dealing with departments (Audit/R&D/Central Stores/Accounts/IWD-Pingla) and operating units in resolving day-to-day operational problems.
